Just moved to France, or lived here for years? I help you get your devices, your Wi-Fi, and your home set up and working — patiently, in plain English, with no rush and no jargon.

Hi, I'm Alex.

I live in Montpellier, and I help people in and around the city sort out the everyday technology and household tasks that are frustrating to tackle alone. A lot of my clients have recently moved to France and are juggling new devices, new systems, and a new country all at once. Others just want a patient, friendly hand from someone who explains things clearly and doesn't make them feel silly for asking.

Whatever it is, we'll get it sorted together.

Technology help

  • Computers, phones, tablets, and printers — setup, troubleshooting, and getting them to work together

  • Wi-Fi and internet — getting you connected and keeping you connected

  • Watching home from here — setting up streaming and your favorite channels from back home (American TV and more) so they work in France

  • Email, apps, online accounts, and cloud storage — set up and explained simply

  • General tech guidance — patient, plain-English answers to "how do I…?"

Help around the home

  • Small repairs and fixes

  • Furniture assembly (yes, the flat-pack mountain)

  • Hanging and mounting — shelves, pictures, TVs, curtain rails

  • General home maintenance and odd jobs

For anything involving new electrical or plumbing installations, modifications, or structural work, French law requires a licensed professional — so I'll always point you to a trusted one rather than cut corners. I'm happy to help with minor, non-licensed tasks, and I'll always tell you honestly which is which.
